Traditionally, “membership”
meant being part of both ANA and NHNA.
However, in the interest of providing nurses with more options
for professional affiliation, it is now possible to belong to
either the state or national association.
·
Dual ANA-NHNA
Membership is still the ‘gold standard’ and offers the richest
package of benefits, support, professional advantages, voting
rights and other participation opportunities.
Members enjoy
the full panoply of ANA benefits, as well as all the
advantages of connecting locally with a professional nurses
association.
