Job Summary

Under the direction of the Nursing Director, the Clinical Nurse Educator is responsible for:

• Coordinating the orientation program within the department and facilitating continuing education and staff development programs.
• Participating in the interview process for new employees, helping define orientation needs of the department and designating preceptor matchs.
• Coordinating clinical practices, including simulation, monitoring the completion of online courses.

Requirements include a BSN with 2 years of specialty clinical experience required. Certification in specialty or nursing staff development is highly preferred.
